We are looking foraMobility SupportEngineerto join our this role you will help improve the productivity of CoStar Group employees by being the first point of contact for internal IT information and problem resolutionfocusing on our mobility platform. This isaccomplishedby diagnosing and resolving problems with Mobile Device hardware third-party and proprietary software internet connectivity and other issues ina timelyand professional manner via telephone emailchatremote tools and hands-on support.

Excellent customer service should be your motto. You are a self-starter problem solver and excellent communicator. You can clearly explain troubleshooting steps over the phone to customers and are willing to adjust your explanation as needed to resolve issues quickly. You can juggle multiple projects at once with frequentfollow-upswithcustomers.

This position is located in ourRichmond VAoffice and offers a scheduleofMonday to Thursday inofficewith the option to workremoteon Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidanceassistance coordination andfollow-up on customer questions problems or malfunctions of all systems applications hardware and software installed andmaintainedby the companyutilizingour Jira ticketing platform.

  • Configure and troubleshoot multiple mobile devices including but not limitedto:iPadssmartphones and other IOT devices

  • Responsible for managing the mobile devices and their configurationswith direction from theLead Mobility Engineer

  • Document problems and solutions in the IT Support ticketing system

  • Inform management of potential problems andidentifyproblem trends by providing / generating comprehensive reports and metrics for monitoring of services

  • Install configuremaintain and upgrade mobility hardware and software as needed

  • Participate in projects related to the mobile device environment such as assessment deployment and implementation of hardware and software upgrades and procedures

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

BasicQualifications

  • Bachelors degreefrom an accredited not for profit in-person university or college

  • 1year of experience providing customer support for mobile devices

  • Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50lbs

PreferredQualificationsandSkills

  • Call center support experience specifically experience at amobile carrier(Verizon T-MobileAT&T etc.)

  • MDM experiencewithIntuneorWorkspace One

  • ITCertifications
