A skilled experienced process-driven Property Management Team Leader is required to manage a team of Property Managers in the North Kent area - overseeing all local Property Management operations for a small but highly effective team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential Property Manager with some people management skills ready to step into a leadership position.

Our client a successful independent Estate & Lettings Agency operating across North Kent and South-East London is seeking a Property Management Team Leader to run day-to-day operations manage processes and guide a team of Property Managers.

The role will be based in their Rainham office. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities strategic thinking capability and a deep understanding of all core areas of Property Management: End of Lease Maintenance Property Visits and Compliance.

What Youll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

Leading mentoring and managing a team of at least three Property Managers
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Property Management department
Managing processes across four core PM functions:
- End of Lease
- Maintenance
- Property Visits
- Compliance
Developing and implementing efficient workflows and operational procedures
Monitoring performance KPIs and service standards across the team
Supporting team members with escalated issues and complex cases
Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords tenants and contractors
Ensuring full compliance with lettings legislation and safety requirements
Assisting with department strategy and improvements as the new office grows

Strong experience in residential Property Management
Proven ability to lead mentor or supervise a team
Excellent understanding of lettings legislation and compliance
Highly organised with strong process-driven thinking
Strategic mindset with the ability to refine and improve systems
Confident problem-solver who remains calm under pressure
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
Strong communication and telephone manner
Ability to prioritise workload effectively
Knowledge of the Medway area (advantageous)
Full UK driving licence (own car preferred)
Professional proactive and committed to high standards
