Salary Range: $75000 - $114000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and optimize manufacturing tools dies jigs and fixtures.
• Oversee the maintenance repair and refurbishment of production tooling to ensure operational readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related production issues minimizing downtime and improving efficiency.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for tooling performance cost reduction and extended lifespan.
• Collaborate with design production and quality teams to define tooling requirements for new products and processes.
• Manage tooling projects from concept through validation including vendor selection and budget control.
• Conduct tool trials validations and first article inspections to ensure tooling meets specifications and quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
• X years of experience in tooling design fabrication or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g. SolidWorks CATIA Mastercam) for design and analysis.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding stamping CNC machining or assembly.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GD&T materials science and tooling standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced metrology and inspection techniques.
• Proficiency in FEA or other simulation software for tool performance analysis.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with additive manufacturing processes for tooling applications.
