Key Responsibilities

• Install set up and calibrate robotic systems and peripheral equipment on the production floor.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on industrial robots to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical mechanical and software issues in robotic cells and automated systems.
• Repair or replace faulty components wiring and robotic parts utilizing schematics and technical manuals.
• Program and re-program robot paths logic and control parameters for new products or process changes.
• Optimize robot performance for cycle time accuracy and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Document all maintenance repairs and programming changes accurately in maintenance management systems.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures when working with robotic equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics Mechatronics Industrial Automation or a related technical field.
• 2 years of hands-on experience with industrial robots (e.g. FANUC ABB KUKA) including programming setup and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for machine control and automation integration.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics mechanical blueprints and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced PLC programming experience (e.g. Siemens Allen-Bradley Logix)
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence)
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet) and basic network troubleshooting
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies in an automated environment
