Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and calibrate new robotic systems and peripheral equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on industrial robots.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical mechanical and software issues in robotic cells.
• Execute repairs and replace faulty components including servos sensors and end-effectors.
• Modify existing robot programs and teach new paths for production changes.
• Ensure robotic systems operate efficiently and meet production quality standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics Automation Mechatronics or a related engineering technology.
• 2 years of hands-on experience with industrial robots (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in robot programming troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics mechanical blueprints and technical manuals.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced PLC programming skills (e.g. Siemens TIA Portal Rockwell Studio 5000).
• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence) for inspection or guidance.
• Certification from a major robot manufacturer (e.g. Fanuc Kuka ABB).
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for tooling or cell layout design.
