We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Lansing that are seeking skilled Quality Technicians. Key Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured products.
Utilize precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers CMM) to verify product specifications.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records.
Identify isolate and report non-conforming materials or products.
Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Interpret engineering drawings blueprints and quality specifications.
Calibrate and maintain inspection and test equipment according to established schedules.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers) and ability to read blueprints/technical drawings.
Understanding of quality control principles basic Statistical Process Control (SPC) and familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or control environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection and documentation.
High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience operating CMMs or other automated metrology equipment.
Proficiency with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software (e.g. Minitab).
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
Internal auditing experience for ISO 9001 or industry-specific standards.
