Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials in-process production and finished products.
Document inspection results maintain quality records and complete required reports.
Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges) to verify product specifications.
Identify quarantine and document non-conforming materials and products.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions for quality issues.
Monitor and verify the calibration status of inspection measurement and test equipment.
Ensure adherence to quality standards specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the manufacturing process.

Recommended Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
2 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role.
Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges) and interpreting technical drawings.
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and basic statistical process control (SPC).
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with CMM programming or advanced CMM operation.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or similar continuous improvement training.
Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP).
Experience conducting internal quality audits.
Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) application knowledge.
