Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control technicians and inspectors.
• Ensure adherence to product quality standards specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate non-conformances identify root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits to maintain quality system compliance.
• Monitor key quality performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop update and enforce quality procedures work instructions and documentation.
• Oversee inspection activities for incoming materials in-process production and finished goods.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Manufacturing Quality Management or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or control within a manufacturing environment including supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g. SPC FMEA 8D Lean Six Sigma).
• Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Lead Auditor certification (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100 ISO 13485)
• Experience with industry-specific quality standards (e.g. AS9100 ISO 13485 IATF 16949)
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software for quality data analysis (e.g. Minitab JMP)
