JOB TITLE: Quality Control Inspection - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Chelmsford MA
PAY RATE: $30/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Active Secret clearance preferred; previously held clearance acceptable

• Night Shift: Full-Time Monday Thursday 4:00 PM 2:30 AM

• Shift Details: Contractor must train on 1st shift for 4 6 weeks before transitioning to night shift

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

Summary:

• Perform inspections supporting all phases of assembly and manufacturing

• Inspect subcontracted and purchased parts

• Interpret blueprints wiring diagrams and technical documentation

• Use basic measuring equipment and instruments to perform continuity checks

• Apply workmanship acceptance criteria on the production floor

• Identify document and report errors or discrepancies clearly and legibly

• Maintain inspection-related paperwork and documentation

• Follow proper procedures and safety precautions to prevent damage or injury

• Maintain a clean and orderly work/inspection area

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Active Secret clearance preferred; previously held clearance acceptable

• Interim clearance process begins at offer stage

• High school diploma required; no degree required

• Active J-STD-001 certification

• Active IPC-A-610 certification

• Ability to follow work instructions and interpret blueprints

• Basic math and instrument reading skills

• Computer literacy

• Ability to identify discrepancies

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
