Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans procedures and standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g. ISO IATF).
• Analyze quality data metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on new product introductions and process changes to ensure quality by design.
• Manage and maintain the calibration system for inspection measurement and test equipment.
• Support supplier quality management activities including qualification and ongoing performance monitoring.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in core quality tools such as FMEA Control Plans SPC MSA and root cause analysis methodologies (e.g. 8D).
• Strong understanding and practical application of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
• Demonstrated ability in statistical data analysis and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
• Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Plex) in a manufacturing environment
• Certified Internal or Lead Auditor for relevant quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949 AS9100 ISO 13485)
