Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans procedures and specifications.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives using methodologies such as 8D FMEA and 5 Whys.
- Conduct internal and supplier quality audits to ensure compliance with standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
- Collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to improve product quality and process efficiency.
- Manage the disposition of non-conforming materials and ensure timely resolution.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) through APQP activities and PPAP submissions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience applying core quality tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA Control Plans SPC MSA PPAP 8D).
- Strong understanding and practical experience with ISO 9001 and/or industry-specific quality management systems (e.g. IATF 16949).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation with experience using statistical software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead root cause analysis implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and quality control points within a production environment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with statistical software such as Minitab or JMP
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
- Experience with advanced Quality Management System standards (e.g. AS9100 IATF 16949 ISO 13485)
