Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and customer requirements.
• Monitor key quality metrics analyze data and report on product and process performance identifying areas for improvement.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities including FMEAs control plans and PPAP submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production engineering supply chain) to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage supplier quality including supplier audits non-conformance resolution and performance monitoring.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949 AS9100).
• Demonstrated expertise in quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA SPC MSA PPAP and 8D problem-solving.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on product quality.
• Ability to apply statistical methods for data analysis process control and continuous improvement.
• Excellent root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI)
• Familiarity with specific industry regulations (e.g. FDA 21 CFR Part 820 AS9100 IATF 16949)
