Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g. ISO IATF).
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities including APQP and PPAP submissions.
• Maintain and update quality management system (QMS) documentation and records.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing)
• 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA SPC MSA 8D Root Cause Analysis)
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and apply GD&T principles
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
• Proficiency with statistical software packages (e.g. Minitab JMP).
• Experience with specific industry quality standards (e.g. IATF 16949 ISO 13485).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
