The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily production activities to meet output targets and schedules.
Lead train and manage a team of production operators including performance evaluations and conflict resolution.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications for all manufactured products.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor production processes for efficiency identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with maintenance quality and other departments to resolve production issues promptly.
Prepare and analyze production reports on output scrap downtime and labor utilization.

Recommended Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Proven leadership and team management skills including staff development and performance management.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes production planning and quality control systems.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
Knowledge of safety regulations quality standards (e.g. ISO GMP) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Demonstrated experience in cross-functional project leadership.
Formal training or certification in on-the-job training (OJT) techniques or mentorship.
