King Countys Finance and Business Operations Division (FBOD) is seeking an outstanding people leader to serve as the next Property Tax Supervisor.The Treasury Section is part of the larger FBOD portfolio of countywide services and is responsible for carrying out the treasury functions of King County government and over 100 special purpose districts.
Treasury is responsible for billing collecting depositing reconciling and distributing property tax payments of over $7 billion dollars per year. These property tax payments fund key public services within the geographic boundaries of King County. Property tax staff interact with the taxpayers daily through phone email and in person at King Countys public-facing Customer Service Center where property tax and other payments are made in person.
