The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency quality and cost reduction.
Design develop and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to process performance and product quality.
Monitor process performance using statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools.
Develop and maintain process documentation including SOPs work instructions and PFDs.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process transfers.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
2 years of hands-on process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma SPC).
Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective process solutions.
Familiarity with process control systems (DCS/PLC) and process simulation software.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Proficiency with advanced simulation or data analysis software (e.g. Aspen HYSYS Python R JMP)
Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g. pharmaceutical medical device aerospace)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
