Key Responsibilities

Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency quality and cost reduction.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Design develop and implement new manufacturing processes or improvements to existing ones.
Develop and maintain process documentation including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
Analyze process data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and implement process changes.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Mechanical Industrial Engineering or a related technical field
Proven experience in process optimization troubleshooting and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in data analysis statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis methodologies
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks
Strong understanding of process flow diagrams (PFDs) piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and process control systems
Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g. Aspen HYSYS PRO/II)
Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or ERP (e.g. SAP) integration
Familiarity with PLC programming or industrial automation systems
