The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all daily plant operations to ensure production targets quality standards and delivery schedules are met.
Develop and implement strategic plans for the plant aligning with company objectives for growth efficiency and profitability.
Manage and mentor plant staff fostering a high-performance culture ensuring proper training and promoting employee engagement.
Control plant budget and optimize resource allocation to achieve cost-efficiency and financial targets.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols environmental regulations and quality management systems.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or other methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Manage equipment maintenance and reliability programs to minimize downtime and maximize asset utilization.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven 7 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related technical field.
Strong understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to manage plant budgets drive cost efficiency and optimize resource allocation.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and environmental compliance standards.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
MBA or Master's degree in Engineering Management or a related field.
