The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Direct and optimize daily plant operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
Manage the plant budget control costs and identify opportunities for financial improvement.
Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations quality standards and environmental policies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity efficiency and waste reduction.
Oversee maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Manufacturing Business Administration or a related field.
Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proven ability to manage budgets drive cost reduction and improve operational efficiency.
Strong understanding of manufacturing safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g. ISO).
Exceptional leadership team building and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
MBA or Master's degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related technical field
Proven experience leading significant automation or digital transformation initiatives
Proficiency with advanced ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
