Salary Range: $85000 - $125000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Wyoming seeking Materials Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure production continuity and minimize holding costs.
Develop and implement material planning strategies using MRP/ERP systems.
Oversee the procurement process for raw materials and components ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers monitoring performance and negotiating terms.
Lead and mentor the materials team fostering a culture of efficiency and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with production sales and engineering to develop accurate material forecasts and production schedules.
Implement and monitor material handling storage and distribution procedures within the manufacturing facility.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering or a related field.
5 years of progressive experience in materials management procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced inventory management techniques.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and supply chain optimization strategies.
Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent negotiation and and communication skills.
APICS certification (CSCP or CPIM) is highly desirable.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
Experience with international sourcing and logistics strategies
