The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Portage seeking Maintenance Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and develop a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
Develop implement and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Manage all reactive maintenance activities ensuring timely and effective repairs to production equipment.
Oversee the maintenance budget control costs and manage spare parts inventory.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations quality standards and company policies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability efficiency and maintenance processes.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support new equipment installations and process improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial) or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Experience implementing reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies.
Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for industrial maintenance.

Bonus Qualifications

CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Proficiency with advanced CMMS platforms (e.g. SAP PM Maximo).
Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
Proven track record in managing capital equipment installation and commissioning projects.
