Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing roles including skilled trades and production staff.
• Manage employee relations addressing grievances disciplinary actions and conflict resolution within a plant environment.
• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local labor laws including OSHA regulations specific to manufacturing.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the unique operational needs of a manufacturing facility.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs ensuring competitiveness and equity for manufacturing employees.
• Lead performance management processes including goal setting appraisals and development plans for production teams.
• Coordinate and deliver training programs focused on safety skill development and operational efficiency for plant personnel.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR management experience specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws OSHA regulations and HR best practices relevant to manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment talent development and employee relations for a diverse workforce including production staff.
• Experience developing and implementing HR policies procedures and safety programs tailored for a plant setting.
• Demonstrated skills in HRIS management payroll oversight and performance management processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience.
• Multilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish Vietnamese etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety protocols.
• Experience developing and implementing skilled trades apprenticeship programs.
