About this Position:

Job Title: Project Manager

Duties:

Manage specific projects and assigned Task Orders overseeing day-to-day operations.
Identify issues and risks recommending mitigation strategies.
Act as a facilitator between the State agency and IT contractor.
Ensure work is within scope meets requirements and is delivered on time and on budget.
Identify critical paths tasks dates testing and acceptance criteria.
Provide solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining performance.
Monitor issues provide resolutions and maintain up-to-date status reports.
Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Business or other related discipline. Masters degree or project management certification is preferred.

General Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in project management.

Specialized Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in managing IT related projects and must demonstrate a leadership role in at least three successful projects that were delivered on time and on budget.
