Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production technical and administrative roles.
• Oversee employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.
• Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
• Administer compensation benefits and performance management programs for all employees.
• Coordinate and deliver training programs focused on safety skills development and compliance.
• Collaborate with operations management on workforce planning productivity and retention strategies.
• Lead initiatives to foster a positive and productive workplace culture aligned with manufacturing goals.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles and practices including talent acquisition compensation benefits and employee relations.
• Strong understanding of labor laws regulations (e.g. OSHA FLSA FMLA) and compliance requirements relevant to manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to foster positive employee relations manage conflict and support a diverse workforce.
• Experience collaborating with operations leadership to align HR initiatives with production goals and safety culture.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in Spanish or other languages common in the local manufacturing workforce.
• Previous experience in a unionized manufacturing environment including labor relations.
• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing plant operations and production processes.
• Advanced safety certifications (e.g. OSHA 30-hour).
