Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing positions including hourly production staff and skilled technicians.
- Provide employee relations support conducting investigations resolving conflicts and administering disciplinary actions.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs including payroll support and workers' compensation claims.
- Ensure HR compliance with federal state and local labor laws including OSHA requirements specific to manufacturing.
- Facilitate performance management processes supporting managers in goal setting appraisals and development plans.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of plant-specific safety programs and initiatives.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor laws OSHA regulations and HR best practices.
- Proven ability in employee relations recruitment for diverse roles (including production and skilled trades) and performance management.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
Bonus Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish)
- Experience with safety program management or OSHA compliance
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience supporting a multi-shift or 24/7 operation
