Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for hourly production skilled trades and administrative manufacturing roles.
- Handle employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and grievance procedures for plant personnel.
- Administer HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws OSHA regulations and company standards within the manufacturing environment.
- Support performance management processes including annual reviews and development plans for the manufacturing workforce.
- Facilitate and coordinate essential training programs with a strong focus on safety compliance and operational skills development.
- Maintain accurate HR records and manage HRIS data for all manufacturing employees.
- Assist with benefits administration and provide support for payroll processing for the factory workforce.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws (e.g. FMLA ADA FLSA) and OSHA regulations
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations conflict resolution and performance management
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with union or labor relations.
- Familiarity with manufacturing safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in HRIS implementation or significant system upgrades.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
