Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Oversee the planning execution and successful completion of engineering projects for process improvement and new product introduction.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency quality and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure adherence to engineering best practices safety standards and regulatory requirements within the manufacturing environment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production quality and supply chain teams to resolve operational issues and optimize workflows.
Manage the engineering department budget resource allocation and technology adoption strategies.
Define and implement engineering strategies that align with overall manufacturing goals and business objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline relevant to manufacturing.
5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment with 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven ability to lead mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong project management skills including scope definition resource planning and budget management.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Experience with ERP or MES system implementation and optimization.
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. IoT AI/ML in manufacturing advanced robotics).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
