Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Oversee the planning execution and successful completion of engineering projects ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes equipment and product design for manufacturability.
Collaborate with production quality and R&D departments to optimize operational efficiency and product quality.
Manage the engineering department's budget resources and capital expenditure requests.
Implement and maintain engineering best practices standards and safety protocols within the manufacturing environment.
Develop and execute strategic plans for technology adoption and facility upgrades to enhance production capabilities.

Recommended Qualifications

Deep expertise in manufacturing processes automation and lean methodologies.
Proven experience leading mentoring and developing high-performing engineering teams.
Strong project and portfolio management skills within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Experience in strategic technical planning and aligning engineering initiatives with business goals.
Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Familiarity with ERP or PLM system implementation and optimization.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. IoT AI in manufacturing advanced automation).
MBA or Master's degree in a related business or management field.
