Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all federal state local and company EHS regulations and policies.
- Develop implement and manage EHS programs policies and procedures for the manufacturing facility.
- Conduct EHS risk assessments job hazard analyses and ergonomic evaluations to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Lead incident investigations determine root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees contractors and visitors.
- Manage hazardous waste disposal air emissions wastewater discharge and other environmental compliance programs.
- Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to ensure workplace safety and environmental compliance driving continuous improvement.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive EHS experience with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Thorough knowledge and practical application of OSHA EPA and other federal/state EHS regulations.
- Experience developing implementing and managing EHS management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001).
- Professional EHS certification (e.g. CSP CIH CHMM) preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Professional EHS certifications (e.g. CSP CIH CHMM)
- Experience with EHS management software platforms (e.g. Intelex Cority)
- Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodology experience
- Experience managing EHS across multiple manufacturing sites
- Proficiency in a second language relevant to the workforce
