Salary Range: $81000 - $126000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop implement and manage EHS programs policies and procedures for manufacturing operations.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments inspections and audits implementing corrective and preventative actions.
• Lead incident investigations root cause analysis and monitor the effectiveness of corrective measures.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees.
• Manage hazardous waste air emissions and wastewater discharge in accordance with environmental permits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety performance and environmental sustainability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Engineering or a related scientific field.
• 7 years of progressive EHS experience with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA EPA and relevant state/local EHS regulations and standards.
• Proven experience developing implementing and managing EHS management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001) and core EHS programs.
• Professional EHS certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience integrating EHS principles with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with advanced EHS management software platforms or EHS data analytics.
• Demonstrated experience managing EHS in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience with sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting.
