Salary Range: $86000 - $131000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular EHS risk assessments inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations (accidents near misses) to determine root causes and implement preventative measures.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees contractors and visitors.
- Manage hazardous waste programs including storage disposal and record-keeping in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor EHS performance metrics prepare reports and communicate results to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Promote a strong safety culture through active engagement communication and continuous improvement initiatives.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety Engineering Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment including supervisory or management responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in OSHA EPA and other relevant federal state and local EHS regulations and standards.
- Proven ability to develop implement and manage comprehensive EHS programs and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001).
- Strong experience in risk assessment incident investigation root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Professional EHS certification (e.g. CSP CHMM CIH) preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience managing EHS in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with enterprise EHS management software (e.g. Intelex Gensuite SAP EHS).
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
- Experience developing and implementing sustainability or ESG initiatives.
