Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines (mills lathes grinders) according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and G-code programs.
Perform quality control checks on machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation tooling or programming.
Load raw materials and unload finished parts ensuring proper material handling.
Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and maintain a clean organized work area.
Adjust machine settings and tooling offsets to optimize production and part accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints technical drawings and G-code.
Skilled in setting up operating and troubleshooting CNC machinery.
Adept at using precision measuring instruments (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges) for quality inspection.
Strong understanding of machining processes tooling and various material properties.

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g. Mastercam SolidWorks CAM).
Experience operating and programming multi-axis (4-axis 5-axis) CNC machines.
Demonstrated ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with advanced metrology equipment (e.g. CMM optical comparator).
