Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement automation solutions using PLCs HMIs and robotics.
Program configure and commission industrial control systems and software.
Troubleshoot maintain and repair automated manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to integrate new automation technologies.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation-related issues.
Develop and execute test plans for new automation systems and upgrades.
Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency quality and safety through automation.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens TIA Portal Rockwell Studio 5000) and HMI/SCADA development.
Experience with industrial robotics programming simulation and integration (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet OPC UA) and data acquisition systems.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot diagnose and repair complex automated manufacturing systems.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Automation Engineering or a related technical field.
Familiarity with process instrumentation control loops (PID) and motor control systems.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial vision systems for inspection and quality control.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. SQL Python Power BI) for manufacturing process optimization.
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
Understanding of IT/OT convergence and experience integrating automation systems with MES/ERP platforms.
