Our client is seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer to support the industrialisation and seamless operation of innovative in-house logistics technologies.
Working within the ILOG product environment-home to advanced autonomous transport systems (ATS Services) robotics applications and deeply integrated control platforms-this role requires a candidate who thrives in production-critical highly automated environments.
The ideal professional will bring strong Release Management expertise hands-on proficiency with tools such as Jenkins Git JIRA and Confluence and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Someone who is both structured and adaptable will excel here ensuring stable efficient and compliant integration of transport systems into complex manufacturing ecosystems.
This role suits a detail-driven engineer who enjoys coordinating change processes managing cross-functional communication with production plants and contributing to the continuous improvement of release and change workflows within an Agile-driven environment.

Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years experience in managing software releases.
Essential Skills Requirements
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release
- management processes.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in release management tools (e.g. Jenkins Git etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence).
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Role Requirements
- Own the change process for ILOG applications
- Creation documentation and updating of I changes including:
- Plan and schedule changes ensuring alignment with the plants.
- Send out meeting invites and confirmations after successful changes.
- Document changes quality using existing checklists.
- Participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) for the plants representing all ILOG applications.
- Create release notes for releases summarizing all changes (minor and major).
- Collaborate between ILOG Release Managers and plants to continuously improve
- the release process.
- Communicate with plants regarding confirmation of successful execution of changes.
