(Senior) Lead Engineer HVAC

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The scope of our contract is to bring assistance with a right-hand Project Lead in the context of complex multidisciplinary building-services design activities requiring alignment between HVAC engineering project governance and multi-stakeholder coordination.

The Key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include:

1. Supporting projects by facilitating communication between stakeholders and progress towards objectives:
- Lead motivate and manage a project team of multi-disciplinary engineers and draftsmen for the projects.
- Work together with external partners in a constructive way.
- Together with the client search for the best solutions.
- Report progress for all the projects on a monthly basis.
- Enhance an integrated design process by looking transversally over the different disciplines involved.
- Prepare and submit tenders and contracts with the support of internal teams.

2. Supporting projects with rational and data-driven assessments regarding costs quality and timelines:
- Manage the financial aspect of the projects.
- Ensure that the budget the timing and the quality of the engineering services and the works on site is executed as required.
- Make sure that the assigned projects are executed in accordance with internal quality systems and H&S rules.

3. Supporting projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution ensuring accuracy and meeting expectations:
- Participate as the lead engineer HVAC of the projects with emphasis on conceptual competences.
- Be in charge as the lead engineer HVAC on the assigned projects depending on their scale.

The experience we are actively looking for:

- A Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of relevant technical design experience in Belgium.
- Experience applying design codes and guidelines for the mechanical design of building installations.
- Experience delivering high-quality outputs within time and budget constraints.
- Proficiency in French and/or Dutch and English.
- Strong communication skills customer orientation and quality-driven mindset.
- A team-oriented dynamic precise and creative approach.
- An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start).
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Valid single permit for non-EU citizens.
