Job Summary

1. Market Leadership & Supply Acquisition


  • Strategic Acquisition: Lead the identification negotiation and onboarding of diverse accommodation types including hotels resorts and home-stays to rapidly expand MyTravalys inventory in the Sylhet Division.

  • Ecosystem Management: Build and maintain strong long-term partnerships with hoteliers resort owners and local travel partners (agents tour operators) to ensure sustained growth and preferential listings.

  • Negotiation & Influence: Serve as the primary point of contact for key hospitality partners successfully negotiating commercial agreements and influencing partner behavior to optimize pricing and availability on the MyTravaly platform.


2. Performance Growth & Demand Generation


  • Dual Focus: Combine active field work with strategic oversight to ensure that acquired properties are not just listed but are also actively generating revenue and bookings.

  • Target Achievement: Take full ownership of key regional growth targets including new property listings total app downloads and booking volume/value.

  • Market Intelligence: Continuously track local traveler behavior monitor competitor activity and adapt regional strategies to capitalize on trends and maximize market share.

  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Utilize technology and data reporting tools to track performance metrics analyze conversion funnels and provide actionable insights to regional and central management.


3. Team Management & Operational Excellence


  • Guidance & Mentorship: Guide and motivate a regional team (if applicable) to execute acquisition and growth strategies effectively ensuring alignment with MyTravalys overall business goals.

  • Accountability: Be highly self-driven and accountable for the regional P&L (or relevant growth metrics) demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and target achievement in a fast-paced startup environment.



Requirements

  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrable experience in a market-driven leadership role preferably within the travel hospitality or e-commerce/startup sectors.

  • Local Expertise: Deep and verifiable connections within the hospitality ecosystem (hotels resorts key industry players).

  • Functional Expertise: Strong understanding of both hotel supply-side acquisition (sales contracting channel management) and traveler demand generation (marketing pricing distribution).

  • Technical Comfort: Proficiency in using technology platforms CRM tools and data reporting systems for performance tracking and analysis.

  • Communication: Exceptional communication influencing and negotiation skills in both English and local languages.

  • Mindset: Passionate self-starter who thrives in a high-growth results-oriented and often ambiguous startup setting.




  • Required Skills:

    Core Skills Booking Management: Ability to create modify and cancel reservations accurately across platforms. Customer Handling: Strong communication skills (Bangla & English) to assist travelers professionally. Problem Solving: Quick resolution of booking issues payment concerns and confirmation delays. Attention to Detail: Ensuring error-free entries verifying guest details dates and hotel policies. Coordination: Smooth communication with hoteliers for confirmations availability checks and special requests. Technical Skills Familiarity with PMS / OTA dashboards (MyTravaly PMS Agoda etc.). Basic Excel & Google Workspace for daily reporting. Knowledge of WhatsApp Business & CRM tools for communication tracking. Understanding of payment gateways and refund workflows. Behavioral Skills Empathy & Patience when dealing with travelers under stress. Professional Etiquette in written and verbal communication. Time Management to handle multiple bookings and queries at once. Team Collaboration with Key Account Managers and Customer Support. Accountability for ensuring confirmations are delivered on time. Industry Knowledge Basic understanding of the hospitality sector hotel categories booking policies and traveler expectations.
