Job Summary

Role Summary

We are launching our Bangladesh operations and looking for a dynamic Head of Operations who can lead hiring manage day-to-day operations and execute the CEOs strategic roadmap. This role requires a strong operator who can build systems supervise teams and ensure smooth functioning of both hotelier and customer operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Building & HR Management

  • Hire onboard and train employees across Growth KAM and Support functions.

  • Manage attendance performance leaves and team discipline.

  • Conduct regular reviews and ensure accountability.

2. Daily Operations Management

  • Oversee booking operations confirmations cancellations and refunds.

  • Supervise Key Account Managers and Growth Managers to ensure smooth service.

  • Implement SOPs for customer and hotelier operations.

  • Resolve escalations related to bookings payouts or hotel partnerships.

3. Strategy Execution

  • Execute the CEOs business plan for Bangladesh.

  • Track KPIs: hotel onboarding active listings bookings app downloads and customer satisfaction.

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

  • Drive expansion plans partnerships and local initiatives.

4. Hotelier Relationship Management

  • Strengthen relationships with existing hotels.

  • Ensure hosts complete profiles respond to bookings and maintain listing quality.

  • Support hotel partners with channel manager mapping and PMS adoption.

5. Customer Experience & Quality Control

  • Monitor review management across Google app and social platforms.

  • Ensure travelers receive timely support and positive experiences.

  • Maintain service quality and reduce refund-related friction.

6. Administration & Compliance

  • Manage local office operations documentation and petty cash.

  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh labor and business regulations.

  • Coordinate with finance for payouts and reconciliation.

7. Reporting & Coordination

  • Provide daily/weekly reports to the CEO.

  • Coordinate with India HQ for tech finance HR and marketing needs.

  • Maintain dashboards for performance tracking.



Requirements

Key Skills & Requirements

  • 47 years of experience in operations business management or hospitality tech.

  • Experience in managing teams and hiring employees.

  • Strong problem-solving and execution capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Familiarity with hotel operations OTA systems or travel tech is a strong advantage.
