What We Offer

Major task:

Executive and Governance Support

  • Provide high-level management assistance to the Managing Director of both legal entities ensuring timely and effective execution of entity-related issues and corporate governance requirements.

  • Plan coordinate and facilitate all country-level internal and external meetings chaired by the MD including:

    • Taiwan Country Council Board Meetings Shareholder and JV Meetings

    • Townhalls media appointments and other key stakeholder events.

  • Support the MDs business agenda by preparing meeting content presentations data analysis and follow-up actions to ensure effective decision-making and communication flow.

Administrative and Operational Excellence

  • Manage and drive standardization optimization and continuous improvement of administrative processes and systems across all 5 Covestro Taiwan locations:
    Taipei Office ECIC (Taoyuan) and Operation Sites in Changhua Zhangbin and the Covestro-Eternal JV in Pingtung.

  • Develop and lead cross-functional country / regional / global administrative or regulatory-driven projects to improve cost efficiency process effectiveness and compliance in legal entity administration.

  • Direct and administer Corporate Regulations (CoRe) implementation local procedure governance signature guideline and systems such as Company Regulation SharePoint and LCM (Contract Management) in collaboration with LIPC HR and other functions.

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead coach and develop the Office Management team across all Taiwan sites fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and service excellence.

  • Align office management practices with global standards and local business needs ensuring consistency in administrative policies budgeting and vendor management.

  • Strengthen cross-location coordination and communication by acting as the key liaison between MD Offices corporate functions and local site teams.

  • Ensure compliant efficient and standardized administration across Taiwan operations.

  • Improve cost efficiency through process optimization and effective vendor management.

  • Strengthen corporate governance and legal entity management enabling business continuity and audit readiness.

  • Enhance organizational effectiveness through proactive communication stakeholder alignment and timely reporting to global functions.

  • Support diversity and inclusion (D&I) initiatives and employee engagement through corporate and site-level activities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities associations and business partners reinforcing Covestros reputation and compliance posture.

  • Shareholders and external Director andSupervisory of Board of COV TW

  • Necessary association like GTO GIT TRCA ECCT and AmCham etc.

What You Offer

Qualifications:

  • University degree in the field of international management business administration or equivalent.

  • 5 or more years of experience in a global operating company e.g. as Head Administrator Office Manager or Management Assistant.

  • Ability to gather and organize complex data and information from multiple sources and parties to formulate feasible proposals and solutions.

  • Proven track record in planning and execution of complex administrative and regulatory driven projects and initiatives.

  • Initial experiences and abilities as people leader.

  • Ability to plan develop and coordinate multiple and cross-functional projects and teams.

  • With strong strategic thinking flexibility and high degree of reliability.

  • Proficient in coordination communication and work execution.

  • English must be fluent both in the spoken and written form.
