Head of Sales Hayleys Solar

The Head of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the overall sales strategy leading the sales team and driving revenue growth. This position requires an experienced sales professional with strong strategic insight exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of managing high-performing teams. The role involves overseeing the business performance and day-to-day operations of the strategic business unit. The ideal candidate is results-driven strategically minded and excels in communication networking and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the full sales performance cycle including evaluating current results setting targets monitoring performance analysing data identifying performance gaps and implementing corrective actions.

Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to expand market share and achieve business growth objectives.

Provide strong leadership coaching and guidance to the sales team fostering a culture of high performance accountability and continuous improvement.

Prepare and manage budgets forecasts and sales performance reports (including CRM outputs) to inform strategic decision-making.

Build maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients partners and stakeholders to ensure long-term business success.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to anticipate trends and identify new opportunities for growth.

Identify and mitigate business risks to ensure operational continuity and strategic resilience.

Present regular business performance updates insights and recommendations to senior management.

Ensure effective two-way communication between management and the sales team facilitating alignment and operational clarity.

Candidate Profile:

Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or a related discipline.

Minimum of 10 years experience in Business Development or a senior sales leadership role.

Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving consistent revenue growth.

Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales methodologies and industry best practices.

Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.

Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and utilise sales data effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with experience in CRM systems considered an advantage.
