YOUR NEW ROLE

This position is responsible for the provision of applications support across a broad range of business applications in use at Sydney Opera House and to assist with determining how existing applications legacy systems databases Web interfaces and/or hardware logic which may be currently operating on multiple platforms and contribute to the development and maintenance of the Sydney Opera Houses Cloud computing strategy.

ARE YOU THE ONE

Key Responsibilities/skills:

  • Provide technical expertise to resolve complex incidents and problems across diverse business applications including HR finance procurement and event management systems.
  • Develop maintain and document standard operating procedures and configurations for application servers cloud services and middleware platforms.
  • Support and maintain integrations between legacy and modern cloud systems ensuring clear documentation of system interdependencies and workflows.
  • Manage administer and optimise Windows and Linux server environments including security high availability SSO and MFA via Azure AD.
  • Train Helpdesk staff and communicate application requirements to enable effective administration and issue resolution.
  • Lead and support technical project work coordinating with external developers and vendors to meet project outcomes and timelines.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to manage concurrent application upgrades and installations in a fast-paced dynamic operational environment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency across business systems support middleware platforms data tools and web application architectures while producing clear technical documentation and delivering strong customer service.
