As a Claims Technical Advisor youll play a vital role in supporting our Claims Consultants and Team Managers by providing specialist guidance improving processes and ensuring fair and accurate claim outcomes. What youll do
In this role youll be the technical expert supporting the delivery of high-quality claim outcomes across the team. Your day will include:
Triaging claims and providing technical advice to Claims Onshore and Offshore Consultants
Managing payment approvals within the agreed authority framework
Supporting claim declinatures and CRC referrals
Conducting technical audits identifying training needs and contributing to skill development
Managing escalated claims and tier-two complaints from customers and brokers
Helping refine and improve claims processes to reduce leakage and maximise recovery
Delivering formal and informal training to uplift capability across the team
Assisting Team Managers with workflow management and providing Enlighten stats
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective claim outcomes
What youll bring
Were looking for someone who brings both technical capability and a customer-first mindset. Youll bring:
Significant customer service experience
At least 4 years experience in claims management preferably property claims
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify innovative solutions
Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills
Highly developed written and verbal communication abilities
Strong attention to detail and confidence working with systems and data
Adaptability learning agility and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
A collaborative style and willingness to support coach and uplift others
