What Youll Do
Training Maintenance
- Administer classroom virtual and web-based courses using COTS customized or agency-developed materials.
- Deliver live instructor-led training in both traditional and virtual environments.
- Develop course materials handouts instructor guides and visual aids.
- Support distance learning through online courses mobile learning webcasts podcasts and video-based training.
- Manage the agencys Learning Management System (LMS): upload content maintain modules and ensure Section 508 compliance.
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments and analytics; recommend improvements.
- Coordinate logistics for instructor-led and virtual sessions including scheduling and prerequisite tracking.
- Provide technical support and customer service for training participants.
Training Redesign
- Conduct training needs assessments across all practitioner levels.
- Redesign existing courses and develop new curriculum to support financial and acquisitions operations.
- Create innovative learning solutions (gamification blended/hybrid models interactive e-learning).
- Develop certification programs aligned with federal standards.
- Pilot new courses gather feedback and refine before full rollout.
- Ensure all materials remain current with policy system and organizational changes.
What Were Looking For
- Education: Bachelors degree required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g. CPTD ATD) preferred.
- Experience:
- 4 years in instructional design training development and delivery.
- Expertise in adult learning theory and technology-enabled training.
- Familiarity with federal financial management and acquisitions training is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency with LMS administration and virtual learning platforms.
- Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Ability to integrate emerging technologies (AI automation) into training programs.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 2 Public Trust clearance.
- U.S. residency for at least 3 of the past 5 years.
- Compliance with federal security privacy and records management policies.
- All deliverables must be Section 508 compliant and free of macros.
