Were recruiting for aRepairs Supervisor contractually based out of ourPortsmouth officecovering theSouth Hampshire area.This is afull time permanentposition working37 hoursper week. Your time will be split between office working and time out on site with your trade team but also allows for hybrid home working.

Heres the facts about the role:

As a Repairs Supervisor youll line managea team of multi-disciplinedtrades staff making sure they deliver a first-class value for money repairsandmaintenance ensurethatall works carried outare completed toa high standardand withinagreed servicelevelagreements(SLAs).Youll do this by regular work in progress and post-work inspections and will conduct regular 1-1s/90-day reviews for yourteam making sure any training needs are identified. Youll manage any absence and performance issues where needed and will also recruit new staff and take necessary action to make sure your team remain fully skilled flexible and high performing to carry out their roles.

With your focus on delivering a great customer experience youllwork with your team to ensure an exceptional level of quality assurance is provided. But when on the occasions where complaints are made a full investigation is carried out to resolve matters quickly. Youll be tasked with making sure the right action is taken to reduce complaints in future the quality of the works improves and customer satisfaction increases. Youll also beresponsible for making sure that all works are carried out in line with best value taking responsibilityfor thecosts within your team.

Youll have strong leadership skills with experience of managing trade operatives and working in the social housing sector. Youll have the ability to lead a team and will be a confident communicator who remains professional and calm under pressure. It would be advantageous to have knowledge of property construction and problem diagnosing.

To succeed in this role youll be driven to meet/exceed targets and continually improve our service. Youll have competent IT skills organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment!

Asthis role involves travel - with some of your time spent out on-site visiting properties and your trade team - a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle forbusiness use is a requirement. Business mileage will be paid.
