Job Summary:
Coordinate recruitment training supervision and recognition of volunteers for LSS Refugee Services including both metro and out-state programs. Create and lead a new family reunification program that will double the number of refugees LSS resettles in the next five years.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in social service field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
- Good public speaking skills and/or experience making presentations
- Experience in developing and implementing trainings preferred
- In-depth understanding of policies that affect refugees and resettlement organizations
- In-depth knowledge of the family reunification process
- Writing communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop reports & correspondence of professional quality
- Decisions made will require good judgment discretion and initiative
- Be culturally sensitive and able to interact with a variety of people
- Drivers license and access to a vehicle
