What Youll Be Doing

As a Senior Portfolio Systems Analyst (PSA) on the W360 Project Delivery & Support team you will collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to support the W360 portfolio management system providing dedicated application support to CIBC Wood Gundy branch and head office staff. Your responsibilities include investigating complex inquiries ensuring high-quality data in collaboration with Client Operations partners coordinating issue resolution and tracking issues to addition to supporting daily operations you will assume leadership roles prepare and maintain team documentation provide statistical reporting and guide team members. You will also work closely with business consultants and senior management to support application fixes and improvements communicate changes to users and serve as a subject matter expert during training and development sessions.

How Youll Succeed

  • Leveraging Technology.You have advanced computer skills with an excellent working knowledge of Excel.

  • Financial Acumen. You have knowledge of financial instruments such as stocks options fixed income mutual funds closed-end funds structured notes and ETFs. You have working knowledge of financial concepts and calculations such as bond amortization accrued income projected income yields performance etc.

  • Organized & Detail Oriented. You understand the power of using systems to stay on top of things and are enthusiastic about exploring and making the most of CIBCs technological offerings. You notice things that others dont. Your critical thinking skills help to inform your decision making.

  • You are a certified professional. You have completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or have experience in the brokerage industry.
