At Arvida our model of care is underpinned by our resident-led approach and Attitude of Living Well. Our Registered Nurses lead clinical excellence through assessments planning and delivery of care according to accepted nursing practices and standards
You will be responsible for leading supervising and guiding other members of the team and ensuring medical instructions and procedures are correctly administered documented and monitored. Each day you will be providing a proactive and person-centric service by communicating with residents and family and participating in continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
The role is Monday to Friday 36 hours per week. from December 22nd 2025 to 20th February 2026.
Opportunities to stay on as casual and we have maternity leave cover required in June.
Qualifications :
To tatou kaitono pai Our ideal candidate must have
- NZQA level 7 (e.g. bachelors degree graduate certificate graduate diploma)
- A current practicing certificate
- Flexibility to pick up different shifts
- Team leadership skills
- Honesty and integrity
- Good customer service
- Excellent interpersonal organisational and problem solving skills
- Alignment with our values and purpose
- Experience in Palliative Care Dementia and InterRAI is preferred but not essential
