Job Summary

The primary objective of this role is to provide effective leadership and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and high-quality products that meet or exceed our clients stringent standards. We are seeking a full-time Team Leader for our News Cafe at BaxterStorey who will be accountable for the following critical responsibilities:

Implementing and rigorously enforcing BaxterStoreys strategic vision encompassing People Product Customers Environment and Profitability

Ensuring the consistent delivery of superior customer service through a professional efficient and meticulous approach

Providing authoritative and decisive leadership to the team including task allocation performance management and continuous evaluation

Supporting the Manager in critical daily operational activities and assuming full managerial responsibilities in their absence

Coordinating effectively with Front of House (FOH) team to guarantee product excellence optimal inventory management and stringent stock control

Rigorously maintaining and enforcing the highest standards of food safety occupational health and safety and professional presentation

Overseeing mission-critical communications and ensuring strict adherence to BaxterStorey policies and procedures

Qualifications :

Skills & Requirements

Experience and passion in hospitality retail or food service
Amazing teamwork skills and an ability to drive excellent communication
Flexibility to work Monday to Sunday between 6:00 and 22:00 rota-based schedule
Strong customer service focus with a positive attitude and professional presentation
Experience in Front-of-house (FOH) operations including food service and stock control
A positive can-do attitude and a desire to improve and win every day
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills especially during peak times
Ability to work collaboratively with both front and back-of-house teams
