Reporting to the Director of Human Resources this role is responsible for the coordination of learning and development activities across the hotel. Working with Department Heads in recruitment training & developing employees.
This is a newly created role that is suited to someone who enjoys being actively involved with people facilitating sessions and supporting development along with other generalist responsibilities.
DAY TO DAY
Support the Director of People and Culture to ensure the hotel implements its P&C Strategy
Support Department Heads in recruitment and assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads screening resumes and coordinating interviews.
Assist with the induction and orientation of new team members following Resort guidelines where requested. To assist new team members to feel welcomed and to be able to carry out their duties in accordance with the Brand/Service Standards and Procedures Manuals
Coordinate training sessions and workshops to ensure employees are continually developing their skills.
Organise employee engagement activities such as town halls team-building activities wellness programs and recognition initiatives in line with Ennismore requirements.
Contribute to fostering a culture that aligns with the hotels values and mission ensuring all employees feel valued and motivated.
Ensure that all team members participate in scheduled compliance training and development programs provided by Ennismore.
Support the People and Culture team in various HR projects and initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
Tertiary qualification in HR Business L&D or related discipline (coaching accreditation desirable).
Experience in learning and development ideally within hotels.
Familiarity with digital learning tools or learning management systems.
Strong facilitation skills ideally a strong focus on staff engagement is preparable
A collaborative approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
