Job Summary

  • Oversees 24-hour nursing care for assigned unit in compliance with policies regulations and long-term care standards.
  • Coordinates care across disciplines to ensure continuity quality and resident satisfaction.
  • Leads quality assurance initiatives conducts audits and implements corrective actions.
  • Supervises trains and evaluates staff; manages schedules performance and staffing needs.
  • Maintains accurate medical records ensures compliance with medication procedures and participates in care plan meetings surveys and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Provides clinical support restorative care oversight and effective communication with residents families and healthcare teams while fostering a positive professional work environment.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Current RN or LPN License from the State of Maryland.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in geriatric nursing including two (2) years of experience as a Charge Nurse/Manager in geriatric care with progressive experience in an administrative and supervisory capacity.
  • Current CPR required.
  • IV certification preferred.
