- Oversees 24-hour nursing care for assigned unit in compliance with policies regulations and long-term care standards.
- Coordinates care across disciplines to ensure continuity quality and resident satisfaction.
- Leads quality assurance initiatives conducts audits and implements corrective actions.
- Supervises trains and evaluates staff; manages schedules performance and staffing needs.
- Maintains accurate medical records ensures compliance with medication procedures and participates in care plan meetings surveys and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Provides clinical support restorative care oversight and effective communication with residents families and healthcare teams while fostering a positive professional work environment.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Current RN or LPN License from the State of Maryland.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in geriatric nursing including two (2) years of experience as a Charge Nurse/Manager in geriatric care with progressive experience in an administrative and supervisory capacity.
- Current CPR required.
- IV certification preferred.
