About the opportunity

Play a vital role in shaping the future of campus infrastructure. Embedded within the Facilities Management team and reporting to the Planned Maintenance Manager this position supports the Universitys mission by ensuring accurate high-quality asset data across all sites. Youll conduct audits update records in the ArchiBUS CMMS and collaborate with contractors and IT teams to enhance asset lifecycle planning and maintenance strategies. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office and excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. Working independently across varied environments including confined spaces and active learning areas youll help maintain safe efficient and well-documented facilities.

What youll do:

  • Ensure all maintainable assets across sites are accurately identified verified and documented supporting strategic asset planning.
  • Regularly and accurately update asset metadata in the ArchiBUS CMMS system.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate new assets decommission outdated ones and contribute to lifecycle planning.
  • Work with IT and data teams to enhance system capabilities streamline workflows and develop documentation for asset data procedures.
  • Provide timely reports dashboards and feedback on asset conditions and performance trends.

What were looking for:

  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems preferably ArchiBUS for asset data entry updates and reporting.
  • Strong skills in Excel Word and Outlook for documentation reporting and communication.
  • Ability to recognize and categorize maintainable assets including understanding of asset types conditions and lifecycle stages.
  • Knowledge of data validation techniques and quality control processes to ensure accurate and consistent asset records.
  • Familiarity with graphical data capture technologies for plant room mapping and spatial documentation.
  • Current Drivers Licence.

Salary details

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $105665 comprising base salary within the range of $80869 to $90312 plus 17% superannuation.
